Type 23 Wire
Thermocouple grade wire can be used as an actual thermocouple to measure temperature or to accurately carry the millivolt signal from a thermcouple to an instrument. Since thermocouple grade wires (excluding R, S, & B which are compensating only) can be used as a thermocouple to directly measure temperature. They are calibrated for many different temperature ranges.
